We kindly wish to request volunteer from allover the world to assist us to carry on the work. Baraka Technical College-orphans center is proven fast growing a non profit making Christian based organization giving hope to hopeless youth and rescuing orphans and abandoned children in eastern Kenya which was founded by missionary Rev John katundu in the year 1991, this organization has two branches one in Sofia which deals with youth over 14 years where most of activities of organization are coordinated. The other branch is in Makutano which acts like a home for homeless and neglected children of 0 ages to 13 years which deals with small children from 0 year to 17 years these children are learning in near primary schools and come to the home after school. With its main objective focused on rescuing the bleeding lives of children and youth boys and girls who due to their abject poverty situation never continue with normal education and at result were jobless loitered in markets streets jobless.

OBJECTIVE The aim is establish a sustainable resource base to enable the organization support a number of programmes/projects started by the organization.It is our hope through this mechanism to benefit from the services of volunteers in identifying potential donors/ fundraisers and partners to our different projects and programs.

Who qualifies to volunteer in Kenya 1. Men and women above 18 years of age from all countries, regardless of race, religion. 2. Open minded people who can learn and share new and old skills and knowledge with others. 3. Participants who are willing to adapt to their situation regardless of phobias, fears of distractions. 4. Participants who are development focused. The costs you need to meet are: Your air ticket to and from the country, visa fees, vaccinations, local travelcosts,accommodation costs outside project and insurance, You will also need a weekly budget of around ?10 to cover your expenses like bottled water, personal effects, public transport, beverages, entertainment and transport costs to and from project site.
