 Description

Hospital Republica del Ecuador serves the people of Santa Cruz by providing 
many different medical services to the island. The hospital hosts 
specialists, general surgeons, emergency services, and first-aid attention, among 
others. Hospital staff and doctors can be understaffed with long hours and 
several patients. Volunteers are helpful in providing an extra hand to medical 
personal for better service to the communities that they serve. 

Depending on the knowledge and experience of a volunteer or intern, tasks 
for volunteers could include assisting doctors in the emergency wing, helping 
with general consultations of patients, and helping medical personal in 
various departments within the hospital.  and also helping organize patient 
files.

 Requirements 

Volunteers must be of age 22 or above with minimum education of 
Undergraduation. Volunteers with the following special skills are preferred for the 
placement:-

Doctor

Nurse

Medical Student

Pre-Med Student

References from people who have done Short Term Missions with this
